About Bamboo Care
Bamboo Care provides person-centred home and community care services designed to support older people to live safely and independently at home.

Our story
Who we are
Bamboo Care is a home and community care provider supporting older Australians in their own homes. We work with people who have Support at Home funding, people who are just beginning to look into aged care, and families organising support for someone they care about.
Our focus is straightforward: help people keep living the life they want, in the place they want to be, with the right support around them.
Our purpose
Most people would prefer to stay in their own home as they get older. What usually stands in the way isn’t a single big thing — it’s an accumulation of smaller ones. A shower that’s become difficult. Meals that are harder to prepare. A garden that’s got away from you.
Our purpose is to take those obstacles off the table, so staying at home stays realistic for longer.

Our approach to care
How we work day to day, rather than what we say about ourselves.
We start with you
Support is planned around your goals, routine and preferences, not fitted into a fixed service catalogue.
We keep it consistent
Familiarity matters. We work to keep the same faces coming to your door wherever we can.
We stay in touch
Care is reviewed as your circumstances change, rather than left to drift until something goes wrong.
Working with older people and families
Care arrangements often involve more than one person. An adult son or daughter may be organising services; a partner may be providing much of the day-to-day support already; someone may hold a formal decision-making role.
We work with whoever you want involved, at the level you want them involved, and we make sure the person receiving care stays at the centre of decisions about it. If you'd like family included in planning and reviews, we'll build that in. If you'd rather keep things between you and your care team, that's your call too.
- Clear communication about what's happening and when
- A named point of contact so you're not repeating yourself
- Support for family carers, including respite care
- Straight answers about what is and isn't included
Quality & safety
Safe, reliable care is the foundation everything else is built on: support workers properly matched to your needs, clear communication with you and your family, and a care team that responds when something needs to change.
If something isn't right, we want to hear about it. Raising a concern will never affect the care you receive. See Feedback & Complaints.
Cultural inclusion
Care planning takes account of who you are. Language, culture, food preferences, religious or spiritual practices, family involvement, and gender preferences where relevant.
