About these terms
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
These terms cover ordinary use of the website. They are not the service agreement between Bamboo Care and the people we support. That's a separate document, provided and signed before support starts, and nothing on this page changes it.
Who operates this website
This site is operated by Bamboo Care (ABN 27 669 557 724), of 23 Kent Road, Macdonald Park SA 5121.
Where these terms say "we", "us" or "our", they mean Bamboo Care. Where they say "you", they mean anyone using this website, whether for themselves, for a family member, or in a professional capacity.
What this website is for
This website exists to explain what we do, to help you work out whether we're the right fit, and to give you a way to start a conversation. That's the whole of its purpose.
It is not a client portal, a booking system, or a way to change existing services. If you already receive support from us and need something changed, call your care team, don't submit a web form and assume it has been actioned.
Information here is general
Information on this site is general in nature and doesn't take account of any individual's circumstances, health, funding or needs. It isn't medical, clinical, nursing, allied health, financial or legal advice.
Aged care programme rules, eligibility and contribution arrangements are set by the Australian Government and change from time to time. Always check current details with My Aged Care or another official source. Our website disclaimer sets this out in full.
The Support at Home calculator
The budget calculator on this site is an estimating tool, not a quote. It runs entirely in your own browser, and the figures you enter are never sent to us.
It works from published classification and contribution rates to show you roughly how a quarterly budget might break down. It doesn't know your assessment, your approved classification, your actual contribution rate or your circumstances, so its output is an illustration only. What you'll actually pay is confirmed in writing before support starts, and only My Aged Care can tell you what you're approved for.
Don't make a financial decision on the basis of a figure this tool produces. Talk to us, or to My Aged Care, first.
Using our forms
When you submit a form on this site, you agree that the information you've given is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that if you're referring someone else, they're aware of the referral or you're authorised to make it on their behalf.
Please don't use our forms to send medical records, test results or detailed health information. They aren't built for that. If clinical information needs to be shared, our care team will arrange a secure way to do it.
Submitting a form doesn't oblige us to provide support, and it doesn't oblige you to accept any. Whether we can help depends on your assessed needs, your funding, your location and our capacity at the time.
Acceptable use
Please don't use this site to send anything unlawful, misleading, abusive, or that infringes someone else's rights. Please don't submit someone else's personal details without a proper basis for doing so.
Don't attempt to interfere with the site's operation or security, don't try to gain access to systems or data you're not entitled to, and don't use automated tools to harvest content or flood our forms. We rate-limit submissions and keep records of them, and we'll act on misuse.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep this site available, accurate and current, but we don't guarantee it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, move or remove content at any time without notice.
From time to time the site may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. If you need us and the site is down, call us, our phone number is at the top of every page, and our care team is reachable whether or not the website is working.
Links to other websites
We link to external organisations, including government bodies, advocacy services and partner organisations, because they're genuinely useful. We don't control those sites, we're not responsible for their content or accuracy, and a link isn't an endorsement of everything on the other end of it.
The client portal
The client portal linked from the top of this site is a separate application with its own login, and it is not covered by these terms. Access to it is arranged through your care team, and the terms and privacy arrangements that apply to it are provided when your account is set up.
Intellectual property
The content, design and branding of this site belong to Bamboo Care or its licensors. Third-party material, including partner organisations' logos and government publications we quote or link to, is used with permission or under the terms the owner publishes, and remains the property of its owner.
You're welcome to read, print and share pages from this site for your own use, or to help someone you care for. Please don't republish our content as your own, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests an association or endorsement that doesn't exist.
Your privacy
How we handle personal information collected through this site, including what reaches our service providers and how long we keep it, is set out in our Privacy Policy. Using this site means you accept the arrangements described there.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for loss arising from your use of this website, from reliance on general information published here, or from the site being unavailable.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. If a guarantee under that law applies and we fail to meet it, our liability is limited, where the law permits, to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any dispute about them is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the current one, and the date below is when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
